 Vulnerability Assessment
Vulnerability Assessment:

Someone Help Me uses a combination of tools and internally developed techniques to identify network security vulnerabilities. The data is compiled into a comprehensive and confidential report detailing the vulnerabilities found and the recommended steps for resolving the critical issues. Most companies only identify problems, Someone Help Me provides our clients complete solutions.

Someone Help Me engineers can be contracted to implement the recommended solutions. Upon completion of consulting work, Someone Help Me will perform an additional assessment to verify there are no longer any critical vulnerabilities.

Vulnerability Assessment Process:
  • Meet with IT staff to plan and schedule vulnerability assessment
  • Perform vulnerability assessment to detect, identify, and classify vulnerabilities
  • Process and verify findings to eliminate false-positives
  • Present comprehensive report of findings to client detailing recommended steps to resolve vulnerabilities
  • If desired by client, Someone Help Me will provide our Consulting services to resolve vulnerabilities. After consulting work is performed, Someone Help Me will perform a vulnerability assessment to verify there are no longer any critical vulnerabilities.
Vulnerability Assessment Options:
  • External Assessment
Assess the network from a hacker's point of view to determine what exploits and vulnerabilities are accessible to the outside world.
  • Internal Assessment
Assess the network from the inside to determine what vulnerabilities a rogue or infected computer could exploit.
  • Authenticated Assessment
Root or Administrator accounts will be created on the target machines. Someone Help Me will run an assessment from inside the device. This will allow the discovery of vulnerabilities that have been filtered by an intruder.
  • Targeted Assessment
Someone Help Me will assess pre-defined IP addresses and hosts.
